All of the dentists at Westwood Dental Practice provide NHS dentistry. We recommend having check-ups on a six monthly basis to keep your teeth in good condition and to allow for routine screening for other problems such as mouth cancer

We also carry out treatment which the NHS does not provide such as aesthetic tooth- coloured crowns or fillings, tooth whitening and also high quality dentures- please ask our receptionist or your dentist for more information We will make every effort to arrange your check ups in advance, sending text reminders to avoid missed appointments. Yes! We understand its been difficult access NHS dental treatment since the pandemic onset, and we are happy to register new patients, for both NHS and Private treatment! Get in touch today!

For patients who are required to contribute to the cost of treatment, the arrangements have not changed, which is 80% of the overall cost up to a maximum of £384 per course of treatment

Under the recent change of guidance this can vary to as long as every 2 years. However, if you’d like to be seen more frequently, please speak with your dentist as we have various options such as Denplan to help with this.
